Powernat Organics International Development Consulting Ltd is proud to contribute innovative sustainable agricultural technology to the SAPOF Project in The Gambia, supporting communities to turn locally available organic and green waste into valuable resources for food production.
Working within an initiative led by ActionAid International The Gambia and funded by the European Union, the project promotes sustainable production and increased use of organic fertiliser while strengthening climate-resilient and agroecological farming practices.
These sites provide practical environments where farmers and communities can see sustainable agricultural practices working in real conditions.
At the heart of our contribution is the Powernat composting technique – an innovative approach designed to transform biodegradable green and agricultural waste into nutrient-rich organic material that can be returned to the soil.
Instead of treating organic waste as something to dispose of, the Powernat approach brings that material back into the agricultural production cycle.
Green Waste → Organic Compost → Healthy Soil → Healthy Crops → Stronger Communities
